Veterinary Assistant

Briarcrest is seeking a F/T veterinary assistant to join our team.  Applicants must have a positive attitude, be able to multi-task, able to work in a fast paced environment and have a flexible schedule.  Certified Veterinary Assistant is a plus.   

Associate Veterinarian- $80,000 Sign On Bonus!

Briarcrest is seeking an Associate Veterinarian committed to practicing high quality veterinary medicine and surgery.  We are looking for a motivated, compassionate and client-oriented veterinarian to join our multi-doctor practice. 

Additional Salary Information: Salary will be negotiated and depends on level of experience as a veterinarian.  Practice under temporary permit is allowed while waiting for state license.  No emergency or on call duties required.

Veterinary Receptionist CSR

Applicant must be reliable and friendly, with a love for both cats and dogs and the ability to deliver great communication to our clients and be an important part of our team delivering the best care for our patients.

At least one year of veterinary experience is necessary with great customer service skills.  Applicant must have a flexible schedule and be available to work some weekends. 

Veterinary Technician

Responsible for client / patient care while assisting the veterinarian and carry out basic veterinary procedures.

Required to administer injections, perform venipuncture, take vital signs of animals, properly restrain animals, including fractious pets for examination and treatment. Be proficient in giving treatments/medications intravenously, orally and subcutaneously. Able to perform basic lab work, including urinalysis and blood tests and assist with procedures such as teeth cleaning and surgical procedures.

 

Seeking a well-qualified experienced technician (minimum of two years) to join our team. Certified Veterinary Technician is a plus. Applicants must be proficient in technical skills, have a positive attitude, be able to multi-task, able to work in a fast paced environment and have a flexible schedule. Must have basic veterinary computer literacy skills, be physically able to lift 50 pounds, work on feet all day, and write legibly. Good communication skills required to talk with pet owners and update patient files.
