Probation Officer - Probation Officers serve in a law enforcement capacity and assist in the fair administration of justice, promote community safety, conduct objective investigations, interact with outside agencies and community members, and prepare reports and present recommendations to the court.

 

Surveillance Officer - Surveillance officers provide surveillance and supportive casework services to probationers at the direction of the Superior Court under the provisions of evidence-based practices and consistent with the Arizona Code of Judicial Administration. The duties of a surveillance officer include monitoring the assigned probationers, and meeting with probationers in their homes or at their places of work. Surveillance officers may perform searches and make arrests.

 

Probation Support Specialist - Provide administrative/clerical support to office supervisors, probation and surveillance officers, and unit supervisors in the supervision of adult probationers within the Adult Probation Department. Assist with the process of receiving and establishing new case files, completing appropriate forms for officers such as warrants and petitions; updating, transferring or terminating case files.
