The Three Rivers Area Agency on Aging (AAA) administers the Older American Act and related programs to provide social and nutrition services to senior adults to help them maintain their independence. Social Services Block Grants and other special grants allow the Area Agency on Aging to develop and assist in community-based services that sustain, enhance and promote the continuation of independence within a rural setting allowing these clients to remain in their own homes. Services are provided by a combination of Three Rivers staff and through contracts with service provider agencies.
