Constructing shelters since 2006, Steel Strong Shelters provide services for Alabama and surrounding states. Available in standard and custom sizes, all of our units have a lifetime warranty against defects.
Our shelters are built beyond standard specifications, containing quality and value-added components that are not typically found in our competitor's shelters.
These units feature galvanized no-rust, heavy-duty door handles with an 800 lb. capacity. We also use ALK-FP (PPG brand) premium paint and primer. These coatings are rust resistant and are of the highest quality in the industry.
To ensure exceptional standards of quality, our shelters have passed the rigorous testing standards required by the FEMA 320/361 guidelines for tornado safe rooms and shelters.
