ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND:
For almost two decades, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the North Valley has been at the forefront of youth development. Our mission is to inspire and enable all youth to reach their full potential as responsible, productive and caring citizens. We have 9 Club sites located in Chico, Paradise, Magalia, Oroville, and Juvenile Hall.
The Boys & Girls Club works with young people from all types of economic, social and family circumstances. We strive to enrich the lives of local youth through quality programs and services that focus on academics, healthy lifestyles, and good character and citizenship. We are dedicated to providing local youth with:
- A dependable safe place to learn and grow
- Positive & professional role models to guide, listen and encourage kids to be their best
- Assistance and support for families when they are in crisis
